Making an activities section and a commercial section (No Starbucks or the like as there isn’t much student support for it). a) RPB- Feast and Fest went well. T-shirts are sweet. Also soft. Perhaps fresh and clean-clean? Egg Hunt program will be in May. They also gave money to several cool people.

f) NRHH- Did some OTM re-voting due to category reworking. Mock Rock was ass kicking and inductions and OTY Banquet are being worked on.
g) Creekview- Casino program in the Creekside Lounge was a lot of fun. Yay. Secretary loves Ians reports because they are always to the point. Thanks Ian. : )
h) Canyon (Proxy)- Worked on their RHA Week event but weather was being a punk and made some of the activities difficult. However, RLC Michelle and half of the LGAs were successfully dunked in a tank of water. Yay wet ResLife.
i) Hill- Hill Abduction caused noise complaints but seemed to go well despite that.
j) Cypress (Not here)
k) Manor (Proxy)- Deciding how to spend the Energy Competition money. Will likely be buying green products for the whole Manor.
l) AS (Got skipped at first
)- Special presentation by President Richmond about budget cuts. Estimate on the total cut is around 3 million. Working on the budget and will be holding a special meeting on Wednesday to vote on it. Also going to the March for Higher Education, providing a free bus ride to Sacramento if you sign up by Tuesday and give them a $10 deposit. The bus will leave at 2am on Monday the 21st and be back in time for the Death Cab for Cutie concert. Candidates for next year’s AS are having an open forum Tuesday at 7pm in the Mad River room, come in and check them out and ask them questions. Also Janine supports Sofia. Officious style. Also proposing a mural outside the AS Office.
m) UC Board of Directors- Had a meeting at the Aquatic Center. President Richmond came in and suggested merging several groups on campus (within AS? I wasn’t entirely clear on the subject). New Learning Commons was also suggested to give students a more focused area to study. New bathrooms in Nelson Hall are finished (Male, Female, and Gender Neutral) and will be a model for any further remodeling of bathrooms around campus. Maybe we should have someone come in and talk about current Dining situations so we have a good grasp on what is going on currently, general approval for this.

p) Rec Center- Didn’t go to the meeting due to excessive caffeine levels.

t) Advisor- We miss Leti
( But Nick is still here, yay! Congrats on RHA Week going well. Closing info for residents has been put in mailboxes. Please make sure you read them. Over summer housing info in mailbox.
IX) Old Business
X) New Business
a) Capaccio talking about the Schematics
• The new Residence Halls will house 432 students (including 4 LGAs). There will be four new buildings with 4-6 person apartments with full kitchens and dishwashers (ooh). The buildings will be 3 stories with elevators. Meal plans will be optional.
• There will also be a central facility similar to Creekside Lounge but larger, housing a Wilderberry’s style market and meeting rooms.
• It will be called College Creek.
• The rates will be similar to Creekview, though a small percentage more expensive (but hey, you get a dishwasher, don’t complain).
• They are designed for upperclassmen transfer students and will be gated so only residents can access the buildings and the soccer field.
• West side of the complex will have a locker room, bathroom, and maintainence area.
• Hoping to start construction in August/September and will be trying to make the buildings as Green-friendly as possible.
• John may let the mailroom have a golfcart if they behave. Creekview RHAers declare this may mean they actually get their mail once in awhile.
b) Day of Silence -$99 requested for advertisements and pamphlets through the graphics department. It will be on the 25th. Lynn moves, Janine seconds. Passes.
c) Constitutions-Councils- Any updates to council constitutions? E-mail a copy to RHA@humboldt.edu

XI) General Discussion
-HEMI said awhile ago that he would put up a sign on the door to the J saying why there’s a routing door and the energy comsuption, etc. But he hasn’t. Query? Nick will check it out.
-Put the organic food notice on the powerpoint in the J as not everyone is aware of what’s organic and what’s not.
-Haven’t heard back from the smoking group.
-Smoking area signage is a Wishlist item.
-Bring in Wishlists!
-Mock Rock was awesome, yay!
-Go to AS Candidate forums! And then vote on the 22nd.
