Internship opportunities for your business
Internships are designed for companies that need help with a special project or a specific problem that would allow students to learn something new applicable to their education. The type of work would need to add value to the student's knowledge and understanding of business principles and concepts.
If you are interested in having an intern for a semester, please complete the Business Community Internship Questionnaire (PDF) and return it (via email is preferred) to biz@humboldt.edu. The content will be reviewed, a draft announcement will be created and sent to you for final approval, and then the announcement will be posted for interested students to respond.
Student interns need to sign up for the internship in order to receive credit. This means that time needs to be allowed for the positions to be posted, the students to reply, and time for the business to select a student a few days prior to the deadline to sign up for classes has passed (listed in the course catalog).
Students will be assigned an advisor who will work in conjunction with the business to make this a successful experience for both the student and the business.
