Future Students

Considering a career in the business world? HSU's School of Business will help you get ready to take on the demands of today's fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.

We have a history of providing students with the best business education available, while doing it in the beautiful setting of Northern California's redwoods.

Our small class sizes put you in contact with highly trained professors, educators and scholars who will help shape your college and professional careers, while our unique hands-on learning opportunities get you involved with our Student Managed Investment Fund, International Business Simulation Competitions, VITA program and more.

Excellence in education, from start to finish

By the time of graduation, our business students have mastered the cutting-edge business world, while keeping themselves firmly planted in the principles of social and environmental responsibility.

Browse through our program and check out some of the clubs and activities our students are involved in. We offer 5 concentrated options within the major program, including: accounting, finance, international business, management and marketing.

Special learning opportunities

We occasionally have special interest courses you may wish to take. For example, BA 260, “Personal Finance” is an excellent course designed to help students become financially responsible individuals who make informed spending, saving, and investment decisions in a complex economic environment. Topics include financial planning, money, risk, and investment management; and life cycle plans.
