Prospective Students with Disabilities
Exceptional
Admission Information and Procedures
If you have applied to Humboldt State University (HSU) and do not meet regular
admission eligibility requirements and you believe this is due to your disability,
you may seek consideration for a Review for Exceptional Admission through
the Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC). Having a disability and obtaining
an Exceptional Admission Review does NOT guarantee
admission, however, in some cases, exceptional admission is granted. Please
note, you should complete and send the California State University (CSU) Undergraduate
Application for Admission directly to the HSU Admissions Office. For more
information on HSU Admissions and Enrollment Services, visit: http://www.humboldt.edu/~records/.
You may apply to the CSU either by paper application form or via the web by
using: http://www.csumentor.edu.
There is no separate or different application for applicants with disabilities.
First, determine if you meet regular
admission criteria. If you do not, you may send a cover letter with your
application to Admissions indicating you would like to seek an exceptional
admission review. Procedures
