SEN is focused on empowering Economic Fuel Competitors to realize sustainability in their business plans.  To achieve this we are offering FREE individual and group consultation on topics including Social Return On Investment (SROI), triple-bottom line profit planning, environmental and social balanced score-card strategy, and Total Quality Management for sustainability.

Williams James Foundation

The foundation is sponsoring its third annual business plan competition. They are looking to support new entrepreneurs who are focused on the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit. If you've got a new, for-profit business plan and someone on your team is either a current student or has graduated (from undergraduate or graduate school) within the past five years, you are encouraged to enter the competition. Executive summaries (3-5 pages) are due on February 17th. Many previous entrants and winners have had economic development components to their plans.
