Total Program Cost (see table below) consists of the following components:
Application: refundable if not accepted or the program cancels
Tuition: includes administrative expenses and academic credit
Transportation: includes all transportation during the program (van rental, fuel, insurance). Participants are to arrive by their own means in Santa Cruz on April 1. (Note that Sierra Institute does not arrange long-term parking for private autos.)
Site fee: for our stay at the residential center (Hinterlands, near Covelo, Calif.).
Academic: covers course reader, first aid supplies, campground and entrance fees, garden supplies, and miscellaneous expenses.
