Our thirty scholars have been chosen! Here is some good information for our Scientific Leadership Scholars.
Plan on our first SLS meeting for Sunday August 19.
Please plan on being available for the SLS program by Sunday August 19. (Please disregard the previous date of August 11). Our first meeting together will occur on Sunday August 19. We will spend the day together off campus. We will have some fun together, get to know one another and learn more about the Scientific Leadership Scholars Program. I will send you more details of when and where to meet in the later part of July.
We have saved some spots in some classes for you.
When you come to the Humboldt Orientation Program (HOP) you will need “magic numbers” to sign up for these classes with saved spots. Your major advisor (in Computer Science, Environmental Resources Engineering or Mathematics) will have your magic numbers for you. If you have any problems, just send me some email or try to call. We have saved spots in the dorms for you.
Be sure to pay your license fee ASAP to be sure to have a spot in housing. Email holly@humboldt.edu if you have questions about your housing status.
Beth will be traveling for most of June and the first week of July.
