Staff Council is a group of Humboldt State Employees dedicated to improving the working lives for all staff members. Please take a moment to read more about our mission, consider attending a meeting or a Brown Bag Lunch with the President.
Meet the members of Staff Council »
Staff Council Mandate:
- To promote the role of staff in the achievement of the mission of the University.
- To advise and recommend to the President on matters outside the scope of collective bargaining.
- To facilitate positive communication and cooperation among the staff across the campus.
- To recommend staff representatives for campus committees which are charged with matters outside the scope of collective bargaining, if so requested. Particular Items of Interest:
- Brown Bag lunches with the President; although not new to 2009, these are important opportunities for staff to meet directly with President Richmond.
