Visitar los monumentos arquitectónicos coloniales del siglo XVI es un buen pretexto para visitar San Agustín Etla. El templo de San José, La Iglesia de San Agustín y El templo de Soledad Vistahermosa con sus tradicionales celebraciones lo invitan a pasar unos días inolvidables sobre todo los fines de semana de marzo 19 y agosto 25 cada año. También vale la pena visitar la antigua Fábrica de Textiles de Vistahermosa que se encuentra en reconstrucción para convertirlo en una de las mas espectaculares Escuelas de Artes Plásticas de México.
Se recomienda visitar también el Taller Arte Papel Oaxaca en Vistahermosa abierto desde 1998 y donde
le pueden ofrecer clases sobre la elaboración del papel.
O venga y disfrute de una de las celebraciones mas encantadoras y místicas de la región "El Día de Muertos" en noviembre 1o. de cada año.
Desde la tranquila población de San Agustín, usted también puede pasar días completos visitando Oaxaca u otros pueblos de alrededor.
To visit the great colonial monuments of century XVI is a good excuse for you to spend unforgettable holidays in San Agustín, Etla. You can visit the Church of San José, The Church of San Agustín, or the temple of Soledad Vistahermosa. People organize fun traditional religious celebrations around these temples, specially on the weekends of March the 19th and August the 25th every year.
We also recommend you to visit the magnificent old Vistahermosa Textile Factory which is being reconstructed into one of the most espectacular Plastic Arts Schools of Mexico.
The Paper factory of Vistahermosa opened since 1998, is fun to visit too. They also offer lessons on papermaking.
Or come and join us for the mistic Day of the Death by November the 1st. One of the most meaningful and mistic celebrations of the year.
Once you are in San Agustin, Etla, you can still visit the city of Oaxaca and spend the whole afternoon there or visit other villages around the area.
