Crime Alert:

Sexual Battery

  • Crime(s): 243.4(e)(1) PC: Misdemeanor Sexual Battery
  • Case #: 09-0337
  • Date: Wednesday, 05/06/2009, at approximately 1:15 AM
  • Location: Granite Avenue near the Community Forest Road extension
  • Suspect #1: White male, early 20’s, 5’10’ to 6’ tall, wearing a dark colored shirt, blue jeans and wearing white athletic shoes
  • Suspect #2: Black male, early 20’s, 5’10’ to 6’ tall, wearing a dark colored shirt, blue jeans

On the above date & time, a lone female student was walking eastbound on Granite Avenue towards the Creekview Residence Halls. When she was near the gated road leading into the forest, two unidentified male subjects grabbed her. One of the suspects reportedly committed sexual battery by briefly squeezing the student through her clothing before she was able to break free and run to her residence.
