Curriculum Plans

The two-year, Full-Time program curriculum plan is constructed with a foundation year curriculum of 27 semester units and an advanced year of 30 semester units. Content areas are integrated and develop greater specificity, breadth and depth over the two years. Students are expected to enter with preparation in the liberal arts as the curriculum is grounded and developed from a liberal arts foundation.

The Advanced Standing program is designed for students who graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited college or university. After completing two Summer courses, students join the advanced year curriculum.

A Part-Time program is also available. Students in the Part-Time program complete the same course of study as Full-Time students, but do so over three consecutive years of Saturday classes. The next class of Part-Time MSW Students will not be admitted until Fall, 2010.
