Hello and welcome to my webpage!

I am Thomas “TK” Koesterer, Associate Professor and Director of the Athletic Training Education Program in the Department of Kinesiology & Recreation Administration.  Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology have been my areas of interest for more than 30 years, and I continue to be excited about learning and teaching in these areas everyday.  Extensive interaction with students is what I enjoy about teaching at Humboldt State University.

My philosophy of teaching is to develop the qualities of discipline, self-reliance, and leadership in students that will enable them to become productive in our society, through the individual personal and professional relationships developed between student/teacher.
