Getting Started with Moodle

Introductory class covers navigating, course settings & control panel, how to add a file, how to add a website and how to insert labels. Bring a flash drive with your files to practice uploading. (1.5 hours)

Intermediate Moodle

Prerequisite: You should have completed the Getting Started with Moodle class, or are already familiar with how to add activities and files, and navigate a Moodle course. In this course you will learn about some of the common Moodle Activity tools. By the completion of the course you will be able to identify and use the following Moodle Activities: • Assignment • Book • Discussion Forum. (1.5 hours)

Advanced Topics in Moodle

Learn how to use Moodle's collaborative tools to enhance student participation & learning. Wikis serve as a series of web pages that can be updated and worked on by students. Glossaries allow students and faculty to create and maintain a list of concepts and their definitions, much like a dictionary. These entries can be searched and browsed in many different formats. You can also autolink the words any time they appear in your course to their glossary entry. (1.5 hours)
