The Clothesline Project
The North Coast Rape Crisis Team will lead this workshop for women and girls who are survivors of violence. Each participant will make a T-shirt to represent their experience to heal from violence.

Self-Defense for Women and Girls
This program is designed for women and girls who want to feel more confident in their own ability to protect themselves and speak up for their rights. Verbal and self-defense techniques and strategies will be taught. Wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. Pre-registration reqired. International Perspectives on Women’s Issues
Sharona Thompson will discuss her work in Africa with Tostan (organization working to end FGM in Africa)and V-Day’s contribution to Tostan last year. Professor Kim Berry will lead a discuss the US involvment in "liberating" women in Afganistan.
