Web Council Meeting, October 24
The Web Office would like to invite all HSU staff and faculty that design, publish, or manage department or other official university web sites to join the Web Council-- an informal group of campus web developers.
The purpose of the Web Council is to facilitate communication among campus web staff, share ideas and resources, and discuss current trends and best practices. We will meet once a semester for an hour.
The first meeting will be Tuesday, October 24 at noon in the Goodwin Forum.

Web Accessibility Training Opportunity
The CSU is hosting a web accessibility training on September 28 and September 29. The two day hands-on training is offered at an excellent price of $225.
This training is suggested for web developers, web managers, programmers, faculty development and instructional design staff, academic technology staff, IT project managers, assistive technology staff, and those with significant responsibilities for updating web content.

Home Page Quick LInks Updated
We have updated the format of the “Quick Links” section on the HSU home page.
The new format is an accessible drop-down menu, which allows for a greater number of links in the section. We have added several links to drop-down based on user feedback.
