New HSU Home Page launched August 13, 2004
The Web Office launched a new HSU homepage and associated top-level pages on August 13, 2004.
Link Changes
- Links to WebMail, Records & Registration (WebReg), Blackboard, Phone & Email directories, and the Library are now located in the Quick Links section on the right-hand side of the page (see above).
- The HSU A-Z index is located along the bottom of the page (see above).
- "Student Services" is found under "Information for: Students", directly above the Quick links.
- "Faculty & Staff Services" is found under "Information for: Faculty & Staff ", directly above the Quick links.
Features of the new design
- Fourteen randomly-loaded banners that illustrate HSU's programs and environment, with stories describing the banners that can be accessed by clicking on the banner text
- Reorganized and expanded navigation for a more user-friendly architecture
- Reorganized spotlight section of major campus events
- A new search engine, powered by Google
