Master's Degree Requirements

The following is a current description of requirements for successful completion of master of science degree in Natural Resources (Wildlife option).

Prerequisite

Satisfactory undergraduate preparation in wildlife management or related field.

Required courses

Seminar in Wildlife Management, Thesis, and Advanced Field Problems. Approved upper division and graduate electives to bring total units beyond satisfactory undergraduate preparation to a minimum of 30. Fifteen or more of the units must be courses primarily organized and conducted at the graduate level, including two units of Seminar in Wildlife Management. No more than four units each of Thesis and Advanced Field Problems may apply toward degree. A thesis is required.
