CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WILDLIFE CONCLAVE TEAM

Humboldt State University won the Western Wildlife Student Conclave by winning its 8th straight Quiz Bowl Competition, best scientific paper, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Poster Presentations, and the Wildlife Calling Contest. It was a clean sweep against eight western schools, including Texas A&M, Texas Tech., the Universities of Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and New Mexico and Colorado State Universities. Colorado State University was the host of this event. In September 2002, the team defended their National Title, taking first place in Bismarck, North Dakota. The following March, 2003, the conclave team came in second at the Western Region Conclave Competition in Laramie, Wyoming. Congratulations to all on a job well done!!!
