Building Healthy Communities

Del Norte County and the adjacent tribal lands is one of fourteen places in California participating in Building Healthy Communities, a ten-year initiative of The California Endowment. The goal of BHC is to “support the development of communities where kids and youth are healthy, safe and ready to learn” (more information at The California Endowment). The California Center for Rural Policy is assisting the initiative with data and evaluation needs.
