Not entirely. Because Elluminate is a software-as-a-service application that's hosted outside HSU, you'll use a combination of your HSU User Name and a separate Elluminate password to access your web conferencing account.

When you first become associated with the University, you'll need to complete an Account Activation Checklist, where you must:

  • select a password that will be associated with your HSU User Name
  • provide answers to security questions that will be used to verify your identity if you ever lose your password
  • set your preferred email address

This completes your account activation.

Your account at HSU enables you to access your email, Moodle, lab computers, the wired and wireless networks on campus, and other essential services. Depending on your role at the University, you may also be able to use your HSU account credentials to access Oracle/PeopleSoft applications.
