ITS Projects

ITS defines a project as a one-time effort with a specific scope, goal, and timeline requiring two or more people to perform more than 20 hours of work. ITS issues a call for technology project proposals once or twice a year; learn more about the process and how to submit a proposal. You can also review currently active and completed projects.

If you're unsure whether what you need qualifies as a project, talk to your regular ITS contact. If you don't have a regular ITS contact, you can submit a support request; someone from the Project Office will contact you to help you figure out the best approach to take with your request.

If what you want to do involves acquiring a software application, please follow the procedures described in the Guide to Successful Software Acquisition; note, however, that the Project Office will not actually handle software purchases on your behalf.
