HSU's myReports enables you to extract information from PeopleSoft using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) data warehouse reporting software, the university's comprehensive environment for organizing, analyzing and presenting data. myReports provides information that is up-to-date, accurate, consistent, and easy to access, which in turn enables staff and faculty to more effectively set priorities and understand the potential impact changes in priorities may have on individuals, groups, and the campus as a whole. Four broad categories of information are currently available - students, human resources, finance, and DARS - with many different views (dashboards) and reports accessible within each category.
Most popular browsers are compatible with the myReports interface.
When you request access to myReports, you will be automatically enrolled in an online OBI course in Moodle. You are required to complete this course within two weeks of requesting access, or your account will be disabled until such time as you do complete the course.
OBI integrates directly with Microsoft Office, enabling live data to be included in documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as well as published directly to a website.
The goal is for ITS staff to act on database access requests within two business days of receipt of the request.
In order to access myReports, you must have a signed confidentiality agreement on file with Human Resources and formal permission to access the relevant databases.
myReports is currently divided into four broad categories of information (others will be added as the datasets become available):
Each myReports category provides a number of different reports, grouped into dashboards; more details on each of these categories will be made available soon.
