Sidney Afsarzadeh

Sidney coordinates the BA program at Pelican Bay State Prison. She is the point of contact between the University and the Prison. She handles administrative tasks, facilitates a study hall, coordinates research requests between the students and CPH librarians and helps with the Debate team at Pelican Bay. She is always looking at ways to bring as much of the Arcata campus opportunities to the Pelican Bay students as possible. Sidney has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Cal Poly Humboldt. She is an ally to our incarcerated and formerly incarcerated students.
