Staffing

Staff with a happy childOur Children's Center is a department within Student Affairs. We have a Center Director who oversees the operation, and an Assistant Director who is responsible for the Care & Education program. Credentialed Teachers coordinate the children's programs in each classroom. Programs are coordinated by both a Head Teacher and Teachers at the Toddler Center and Preschool. All teachers hold Bachelor's degrees and have extensive course work and experience in early childhood education. Employed university students provide additional classroom assistance. These are HSU students usually in child development or related fields hired on a part-time basis.
