04/27/12: Per Tammy Curtis, this project has been canceled. The cancellation does not in any way indicate a reduced interest in the importance and need of this project, but will allow for reāscoping and possible future resubmission for prioritization, scheduling and resource evaluation once the design and timelines for the Common HR System have been published.
04/23/12: Per Tammy Curtis, this project is on hold until the Chancellor's Office provides a design document for the Common HR system (which we will be required to use and which are expected to fulfill the requirements of this project request).
03/26/12: Developing requirements and installing/configuring PeopleSoft Candidate Gateway/e-Recruit to determine if this solution will meet HR/APS' needs. This would be the preferred solution, as it will be part of the Common HR system coming in 2013/2014, so there will be no real costs. ITS involvement appears to be only the initial set up; the remainder of the configuration will be done by HR/APS.
02/27/12: Requirements gathering is now in process, and a demo of the PeopleSoft customized solution is being scheduled.
01/23/12: Developing requirements and evaluation criteria, along with a list of potential vendors, including PeopleSoft and an extension of HR's current Microsoft Access deployment.
12/21/11: Project approved and scheduled to start 1/3/12 with the review and selection of a product/solution. The duration of the project will be driven by the selected solution. It is hoped that functionality similar to this will be included in the Common HR System (CHRS), currently scheduled for implementation in 2013-2014. However, the design of CHRS has not yet been determined, so the committee recommends this project solution be implemented by summer 2012 and require less than 200 hours of effort in order to cost-justify its use for at least 1 year.
