Computers for use at HSU can be purchased by anyone with the authority to use a Procurement Credit Card or sign off on a Requisition/Purchase Order. When you're planning to purchase a new computer for your office or department, please refer to the descriptions below to select the most appropriate model for your needs; these are the models recommended by ITS and are available for purchase at a discount direct from Dell or Apple. Please do not purchase a computer not listed on this page without first consulting with your ITC.

Note: If you want to buy a new Apple computer for your personal use, you can purchase at a discount through the HSU Bookstore online at http://store.apple.com/us_edu_11928.

First, you need to determine the model of computer you need, based on how you use it.

• If you always work in your office, please select from the Desktop Models
• If you need to work in multiple places, please select from the Laptop Models

Note that prices given below are guidelines only; final pricing should be confirmed with the vendor before placing your order.

It's also vitally important that you include the full name of the person to whom the system is to be delivered when you place the order, otherwise your new computer may not get to you when you expect it.
