The documents described and linked below describe the standards required for all telecommunications and networking infrastructure projects.

Telecommunications Infrastructure Planning Standards (TIPS)

The primary purpose of the TIPS documentation is to provide a standardized approach for the development of intra- and inter-building campus telecommunications infrastructure and the physical plant systems essential to achieving mission-critical CSU connectivity goals. Following TIPS requirements will also ensure the development of adequate intra-campus infrastructures to support high-speed connections with other CSU sites, with telecommunications providers, and with the Internet.
