How did you start your business?

After studying marimba at Humboldt State University in the early 1980's, I wanted to pursue my studies in playing marimba. I quickly realized I could not afford to purchase one, so I decided to build one for myself. After building several instruments and very much enjoying the process, I decided to turn my hobby into a business. We sell worldwide and have built instruments for many of the great orchestras throughout the world in addition to universities and schools
