TO REGISTER: Fill out the registration form. Attend the first class meeting. Obtain the instructor’s signature and the department chair’s signature.
Return your signed form to the Office of Extended Education and pay your fees by the semester deadline to avoid a $25 late fee. Registration form for enrollment in Open University. Open University registration is on a space available basis with the consent of the instructor and department.
• Open University is NOT available to matriculated students (those officially admitted to and eligible to register at HSU
during the current semester or the previous two semesters).
• If you plan to apply for admission to the University, be sure to check with the Office of the Registrar prior to enrolling in Open University classes.
• A maximum of 24 semester units in Open University earned through Extended Education in non-matriculated status
may be applied toward a bachelor’s degree, and not more than 8 units may apply to the master’s degree.
