Cane Flow for Movement Expression

24078: Canceled

With Richard Stull, Certified Advanced Instructor, American Cane Self-Defense

Explore the creative art of Cane Flow, using the J-hooked cane in an expressive and rhythmic way, integrating dance-like steps, elements of juggling, and efficient principles of movement developed by American Cane Self-Defense Founder (ACSD) and International Martial Arts Hall of Fame member and Grandmaster Joe Robaina. Though linked to certain cane self-protection principles, it is not a martial art, but a pleasurable way of moving -- an empowering and transformative activity that integrates the handling of the cane with footwork patterns that can be practiced anywhere, anytime.

Although self-protection is not the goal of Cane Flow, the principles of handling the cane and footwork are tied into ACSD’s Leader, Advanced, and Masters Courses. Many practitioners of Cane Flow feel empowered to continue learning specific self-protection techniques within the ACSD curriculum, though Cane Flow itself is a separate and stand-alone activity.

The class fee includes a Canemasters cane -- to use in class, and yours to keep. (It will be delivered to your door if local, or mailed to you.)

See a video demonstration of Cane Flow by the instructor on YouTube.

This class has been canceled.
