How did you start your business?
I have always been driven to do science that is impactful to human health. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in biology from HSU I participated in a one-year stem cell biology internship with the HSU-CIRM program. I used that experience to pursue a PhD in cellular, molecular, and developmental biology from UC Santa Cruz. After that, I spent nearly a decade developing medical devices and bringing these products to market.
Once the pandemic started it became clear that clean air was a top priority so my co-founder and I launched a new technology to provide safe breathing spaces for communities most in need.
