Housing Options
This is Where You’ll Call Home
At Cal Poly Humboldt, there are plenty of university housing options for students. We pride ourselves at offering multiple accommodation choices, so you can truly be comfortable at your Humboldt home away from home.

First-Year Student Living Areas
All first-year students will live within their Place-Based Learning Community (PBLC), either The Hill or The Canyon, with a roommate who is also part of that community.
Canyon
A traditional residence hall with eight buildings housing approximately 50 students each.

The Hill
A traditional residence hall, with two buildings each housing approximately 225 students.

Second-Year Student Living Areas
College Creek
Apartment-style housing with four buildings with 91 apartments, housing 461 students.

Creekview
Apartment and suite accommodations with four buildings, each housing around 65 students.
- Housing Type: Each unit has shared common living room, kitchen, and bathroom
- Room Type: Single, double, single w/ attached double, double w/attached single

Cypress
Suite accommodations each housing 7-12 students, totaling 231 residents.
