Nancy Vizenor
Associate Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship and Internship Co-Coordinator and Freshman Advisor
Dr. Nancy Vizenor is a local of Humboldt County. She received her Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Washington. While in Seattle, Dr. Vizenor was a partner in a marketing research firm and also worked in cancer research. Dr. Vizenor has been at Humboldt since 2002, teaching primarily marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. In 2008, she chartered the Institute for Entrepreneurship Education and has served as the director ever since. As the director, she has worked to fill a campus need for entrepreneurship education and to collaborate with the local community.
