Delo Freitas, B.S.

Lecturer

Delo Freitas is a Humboldt local with over ten years of local experience in planning, land use, and community engagement. Through her work in both the public and private sectors, Delo has worked on Eureka and Arcata’s General Plan Updates with an emphasis on community visioning, including youth and BIPOC engagement. Delo has also been a member of several community-led groups working to elevate the voices of specific demographic and geographic populations, including Next Generation Eureka, Cooper Gulch Common Grounds, and South Eureka Neighborhood Alliance. Her volunteer experience includes serving as a member of the Ink People Board and the City of Eureka Planning Commission.
