Paid Internships
Companies often advertise paid internships through Handshake, the job and internship platform maintained by the Career Development Center. These may be academic year or summer internships. They can be local or out of the area.
Several campus opportunities (e.g. research with faculty, opportunities with the Schatz Energy Research Center, INRSEP) are often advertised through Handshake as well. The Center for Community Based Learning offers for-credit internship courses. These are usually not paid but some programs do allow for paid opportunities.
These opportunities do not come with course credit and may or may not include mentoring.
