If your computer is acting strangely and you’re concerned that your (and Humboldt’s) security may have been compromised, please contact ITS security (security@humboldt.edu or x3815 ) and let your supervisor know immediately.

When it comes to security breaches, it’s always better to be safe than sorry, so never worry that you might be raising a false alarm.
