Barry is still planting and maintaining Holcomb Tree Trail, an Arboretum in Granby, CT that was started by Barry and 2 others about 6 years ago. They have planted about 120 tree of all sorts and numerous native shrubs. The 120 acres is in a 99 year lease as the property is owned by the Town of Granby. It is part of a 340-acre farm that was a gift of Tudor and Laura Holcomb who were descendants of the first Holcombs who settled the farm in 1705.  If anyone is in the area, Barry  will give you the free tour.
