Start your Cal Poly Humboldt journey with confidence! In this session, representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing will guide you through each step of the enrollment process so you know exactly what comes next.

Learn how to complete your admissions requirements and learn more about the financial aid process, including scholarships, grants, and other funding opportunities.

You'll also discover the variety of on-campus housing options available and learn how to find the community and living experience that's right for you as you make Humboldt your new home.
 

Transfer Student Pathway

From Start to Finish: The Enrollment Steps & Guide

Start your Cal Poly Humboldt journey with confidence! In this session, representatives from Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing will guide you through the enrollment process and help you prepare for a successful transition to college.

Learn how to navigate the admissions process, including understanding articulation agreements through ASSIST and the Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) program. You'll also gain valuable insights into financial aid, including scholarships, grants, and other funding opportunities.

Whether you choose to live on campus or off, making Humboldt your home is an important part of building community and finding your place. Explore the variety of on-campus housing options available, and learn about the resources and support available to students living off campus so you can make the choice that best fits your needs.

Cal Poly Humboldt's Cannabis Studies Lab takes an interdisciplinary approach to faculty-student collaboration.  Spanning multiple departments, research and special projects at the Lab look at the environmental, sociological, economic and human health aspects of the fast-growing cannabis industry both domestically and internationally.

Fisheries Biology

Come explore the world of fish and aquatic ecosystems with a guided tour of the Wildlife & Fisheries Building, our 50,000-specimen fish collection, and the on-campus fish hatchery—home to steelhead and sturgeon.

Geology

Geologists think about big picture ideas, study how Earth works over long timescales and large spatial scales, and apply their knowledge to improve the future habitability of our planet. 

Join our information session to hear about the Geology major and why it is special, and why Humboldt is the best and most unique place in the state to study geology. We will cover how geology majors learn skills in the field, lab, and classroom that prepare them for a broad range of careers, including licensure as a professional geologist (PG), work for public agencies, or private firms, or future studies in graduate school.
