Brodie Lyons

Brodie Lyons has lived in Arcata, CA for almost 15 years. He is entering his fifth year at Cal Poly Humboldt, double majoring in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, and minoring in Native American Studies. Brodie has experienced the rural northern California healthcare system as a patient, and the health disparities within Humboldt County. His passion for improving healthcare in Humboldt County is the centerpiece for participating in this internship. With an open mind to most specialties, Brodie plans to become a physician and return to Humboldt County as a community leader and practice in the same rural healthcare system that motivated him to enter the medical field.
