Creating an Official Site

Interested in creating an official website at Humboldt? Follow these steps.

1. Agree to the campus ATI guidelines. You'll receive an email within a few hours to let you know your status has been updated.

All CSU programs, services (including websites), and activities must be accessible to all students, staff, faculty, and the general public.

2. Request an official website.

Get Started with OpenHSU

Request an OpenHSU site by filling out the website request form. We’ll get your basic site shell set up and show you how to use your site. Once you have all of your content ready to go, we can help you “go live” and redirect traffic from your old site.

Visit Humboldt's OpenHSU User Guide.

You’ll find that the features and flexibility of OpenHSU will meet most needs for most web sites. Using the OpenHSU theme will help you stay within University brand guidelines, maintain consistency with the University home page, and keep your site secure and up-to-date.

If you run into problems, please submit a ticket to humboldt.edu/techhelp

Note: You are responsible for updating your content on the website and using the Humboldt provided themes and guidelines for public websites.
