Lab Software List

This page lists all of the software that is available in the campus labs and in our virtual lab environment (VLab). Use the search function below to find what you are looking for or to see everything that’s available in one location/service.

There are three ways to access software remotely:

1. If the location says “VLab”, visit vlab.humboldt.edu to access the software.
2. If you prefer to install things on your Mac or Windows computer, some applications are available for you.

Faculty: Request software installs using a Help Desk ticket for computer labs and smart classrooms. Please submit your requests as early as possible before the start of the semester when you need the software to be available to students, so the lab teams have time to install and fully test the software.
