Patti Carr has taught TV writing in the Cal State system since 2019. She has also served as a
Guest Lecturer in TV for Stephens College and California State University, Long Beach, and
instructed workshops in TV Writing at The Writing Pad, Los Angeles. She is an active member of
both the WGAW and the TV Academy, and has served as a mentor and judge for the TV
Academy Internship Program, the College Emmy Awards, and for the WGA Diversity Program.
