Vincent Feliz, MSW, LCSW

Assistant Professor

Vincent Feliz (Chumash), has lived on the North Coast of Humboldt County for the last 30 years. He was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. Vincent is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).  Vincent has a graduate degree in social work from CSU, Long Beach and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University.

Vincent has been a part-time lecturer for the Cal Poly Humboldt Social Work Department since 2009, having taught over 30 social work courses, including some child development courses.

His 28 year career journey has offered opportunities to work as a therapist/counselor at United Indian Health Services, Inc., Cal Poly Humboldt's Counseling & Psych Services, and the Dean of Students Office, where he helped develop the CARE Program.

July 2020 - July 2026, Vincent was the Program Coordinator & Therapist for Northern California Indian Development Councils’ (NCIDC)  Da’luk Tribal Youth Program.
