Contact your advisor

Step 1 - Login to Student Center.

Step 2 - Look for your advisor’s name listed in the "Advisor" box on the right side of the "Academics" section. Click the "Details" link.

Step 3 - Check the box next to your advisor's name. [If you have more than one advisor you will be able to contact both.] Click the "Notify Selected Advisors" button.

Step 4 - The "Send Notification" window will open. Type your message in the "Message Text" field.

IMPORTANT!  Always include your name, your 9-digit student ID number, and your contact information.  See a sample message below.

Sample Message

Hi Professor [add your advisor's name]

I would like to make an appointment to talk about [add your text here]. Please contact me at [add your phone number] or email me at [add your email]. If you are contacting me by phone, I am available at the following times : [list times here].

[Add your name and your 9-digit student ID number]

Click on the "book" icon (right upper corner of the text box) to check the spelling of your message.

Step 5 - After you enter your message, click the "Send Notification" button.
