I earned a PhD in psychology before going to medical school. Decades ago I had great expectations for biofeedback, and used it to assist people with anxiety and headaches, but results were less than expectation. I have seen some remarkable improvements from the use of psychiatric medications, and I think best results come from combining therapy, exercise, and nutrition with medications. And not everybody finds them useful.
