Immigration Rights and Resources for the Campus Community

CAAC Documents

The CAAC is currently in the process of being restructured.  We are working on formal process documentation and then plan to update the applicable CPH policies.  As the documents are finalized, they will be added here.

Resources

Accessibility and accommodation on campus are guided by regulations and policies provided by the United State government, the state of California, Executive Orders from the California State University, and Cal Poly Humboldt policies.

American Disabilities Act (ADA)

The first version of the American Disabilities Act (ADA) was passed in 1990.  Since then there have been additional titles passed.  Below are resources on the ADA:

California Building Code (CBC)

The CBC guides the construction of new buildings and the alterations of existing buildings within California.  As such, CPH is required to meet the requirements of the CBC.  CBC-11B is the chapter of the CBC that describes requirements for Accessibility to Public Buildings, Public Accommodations, Commercial Buildings, and Public Housing.
