Birding Club at Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

Are you a Cal Poly Humboldt Student interested in birds, birding, or the natural world? Have you ever seen a bird ever? Then Birding Club at Cal Poly Humboldt is right for you! We host weekly meetings during the school year in the Wildlife Head room (280) that focus on Bird conservation and identification, as well as anything on the natural world. We encourage any and all members to present if they feel like it , and serve as a home for bird enthusiasts' of all ages and skill levels! We also host monthly marsh walks and club trips to areas around Humboldt County and beyond that focus on community and getting people on some sweet, sweet birds. The purposes of this club are to: 1) Educate and inspire Cal Poly Humboldt students through birding 2) Create a local platform on which students interested in birding can connect 3) Create birding-related opportunities for club members 4) Host educational lessons and workshops on topics related to birds and the community We are a fun, open, and super friendly group that is eager to pass on our knowledge and love of our winged brothers to anyone willing to listen.
