Black Student Athlete Union of Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

The Black Student Athlete Union (BSAU) at Cal Poly Humboldt serves as a welcoming and inclusive space for student-athletes to foster community, representation, and personal growth. While the club is inspired by a commitment to the experiences and values of Black student-athletes, it is open to all students, including allies, who share our dedication to inclusivity, academic success, and social responsibility. BSAU members come from various levels of athletics, including club, recreational, and intercollegiate sports. The organization provides opportunities for its members to develop essential academic, professional, and leadership skills while building a supportive network that uplifts and celebrates diversity. Guided by values such as community, exposure, and empowerment, BSAU aims to help members become productive and courageous leaders both on and off the field, equipping them with the tools necessary to make impactful contributions to society.
