Creative Writing Club of Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

We meet Mondays at 5pm in Nelson Hall East 106. If you're a student at Cal Poly Humboldt who likes writing of any form (poetry, short story, play, etc.) passively OR professionally, this is the club for you! Our goal is to provide a space for members to come and write, bounce ideas off of one another, get/provide feedback on their writing, and learn about publishing opportunities both locally and internationally, as well as learn about contests and writing events! We have many ideas for the club, such as; off-campus writing parties, movie nights, hosting/attending spoken word events, joining writing contests, nature-writing and short hikes, etc. which are all optional. We welcome any student from any background, age, or academic major or year as long as they have a passion for writing!
