Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Club of Cal Poly Humboldt (RSOs)

The overall purpose of this club is to create a space for Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (CRGS) students and non-CRGS students to engage in dialogue around race, gender, and sexuality in the context of Cal Poly Humboldt. Dialogue raises our consciousness in many ways. We believe engaging in meaningful dialogue is imperative as CRGS students, social activists, individuals, and community members. This can include, but is not limited to: queer issues, trans liberation, (dis)ability justice, reproductive justice, class dynamics, environmental justice, immigration rights, intersectional feminism, multicultural studies, social justice, critical race theory, school-to-prison pipeline, mass incarceration, divesting from the police and reinvesting into our communities, and any current events related of the aforementioned.
